An original cocktail created at the Museo del Pisco, using pisco from the Majes Valley in the region of Arequipa.

What you’ll need

  • 8 or 10 basil leaves
  • 1 ounce apple liqueur
  • 1 ounce sugar syrup
  • 2 ounces Cepas de Loro pure Pisco Torontel
  • 2 ounces passion fruit juice

Preparation

    Put the basil leaves into a tall wide glass, then pour in the apple liquor and the sugar syrup.

    Gently crush the basil leaves with pestle, just enough to release the aroma
  • 3

    Add the pisco and passion fruit juice.
  • 4

    Mix all ingredients together.
  • 5

    Add crushed ice to the top of the glass.
  • 6

    Decorate with basil leaves and passion fruit pips. Enjoy!
